has anyone noticed that when filterscape is loaded, with nothing changed, just the default, it cuts some of the highs a bit?

i know the default has the filters set to LP...
so what is the HZ cutoff on the high end for the LP filters?

maybe its around 20k? i dunno.. sounds like its cutting lower then that.

when cut off is at 150, what does that eqaul in khz? (for LP)

appologies if this has been covered.. (but i did search first.. honest :D)

Hiya jdg,

yes, it's cutting off a bit lower. This is a limitation of the filter algorithm used. Otherwise it would get instable, or it would use more cpu because I'd have to oversample it 5 times instead of the 3 times it does now...

The 150 corresponds to MidiNote 136 (2 Octaves below MidiNote 150, if that existed, that is) which is about 17kHz I think. This means, if you set it to 93 you'll get MidiNote 69 = A at 440Hz...

To make it pass everything, simply drag the ring in the center (allpass setting)... that should do the trick...

Cheers,

;) Urs
