It seems it's backordered everywhere. I can wait, but I'm just wondering how popular this thing is getting.

I'm in California. I've only looked online though. I'm way too busy to make it to a decent music store and also want to save the $15 or so in taxes if I can. zzsounds have no tax and free shipping.

I have to imagine the think is super popular, given the price. I'm considering getting the fader version as well in the future, if the unit I get works for me.

Yeah, sorry Mackie. But I can't even consider Mackie's units (as extremely nice as they are) because of financial considerations. Even if they were half the price.

I'll be fine with the knobs, but it would be nice to have faders in the future. The ability to connect the two is just crazy. There's also a unit that does audio, I'm wondering how well that works. If all three can be connected that would be great. Essentially a system that grows with you as your needs increase. I don't know how unique it is, but it definitely helps someone like me.M'Snah........(aka HansM) wrote:I'd advice you to get the BCF right away, unless you really need all the knobs. I bought a BCR and I'd rather have 8 faders instead

I'll never get paid for music. Maybe paid not to play
BTW, I once spared changed my way across America with a clarinet and a sign that said 'Donations for music lessons'. I did pretty well.
