Hi. I'm looking for the guy who created Tacky Browser. I really really want to use it but it is not available on the site (link is broken). I was given an alternative link that listed all the files on the site and while Tackywrapper was there, Tackybrowser was not... :(

I'd like to get ahold of this program, not having a browser is one of the things holding me back from buying T2 right now. :?

Is Tackybrowser available for OS X yet? Though the Finder does a pretty good job as it is.

nope.. the browser isn't an OSX thing.. it's coded in delphi.

That's cool, OS X's Finder works really well anyway. Thanks.

Hey Mod whatever happened to the Delphi for Mac thing that was going on ?
It was a while since i looked at Delphi but i seem to remember work being done on a Linux and Mac implementation ?

they did a linux port (kylix) - there was never going to be a Mac version.

The linux version is all but dead now too. :(

Oh i thought i heard rumours of a Mac port after the Linux port, What with OSX being very close to Linux and all that, Sorry for the mistake.
I asked Mod but completly forgot you used Delphi too Valley, Are you still using JUCE ?
Ifso how far are you with your editor ?
There wasn't much info the last time i went to the JUCE forums.

Well lazarus (free pascal?) works on the mac and linux and was s'posed to import delphi projects.. I tried it, it compiled.. but I could never get the resulting vst to be a valid dll. Figured since I couldn't even get the win compiler working, it'd be futile to attempt the mac compiler.

I'm starting to adapt to juce in the meantime... :D

if it was ever even on the drawing board, I suspect the rather unenthusiastic response the linux version received probably put paid to it.

On and off.
