Before anyone says go buy different software BOLLOX
I'm buying T2 off Jules not Mackie.
As far as i know they are just distributing it, Please let me know if they do now own it, Sad i know but it would have a bearing on my future support, I will support Jules until he drops dead and i really like Beno too but Mackie as a whole can EAT MY SHORTS.

just because i say a word like 'whatever' doesn't mean that the rest of my post isn't meaningful.
too many people here are just saying the most absurd things about mackie. i'm definitely not a 'fanboy' or a flamer. i'm as free as you to state my opinion, and the things people are saying about mackie are just downright pathetic and only serve to highlight maturity deficiencies. mackie are not the only company to not allow switch/solo, so top marks to you for singling them out and adding imaginary fuel to the 'MACKIE MACKIE U - S - A!!' nonsense that's flinging around.
Mackie are an american company. i'm sure it's not too difficult a concept to get over. they could certainly have delayed the T2 release even longer so that they could have the whole world's stuff covered. of course they could have. but it's ready now and they've been lambasted to "release it already!" - they do us T1 owners a favour and let us upgrade now, and start the T2 launch where they've managed so far to settle things. everyone else will have to have waited anyway, so why does it matter that they staggered it? why does EVERYONE have to wait just because other places have to wait? it's hardly a big deal.
(currency conversion / rebates whatever aside) there is no argument about it. mackie have hardly done anything wrong, the simpering whiners are just being pathetic for singling mackie out as being "gun-totin liquid-cheese-guzzlin' liberty liberty yippee-kae-yay mo fuh!" USA uberpatriots. they're just a company.

Sorry but i never mentioned Guns or any of the other crap you mentioned.
Also if you would care to go back and read any of my posts i was one of the people saying Shut up and get on with making music in T1 when others where whining about the T2 release.

I have various problems with mackie that i am not going to start blasting out here as they are not all entirely T based.

I think the software is made and distributed by humans. If you want to recognize some arbitrary line between peoples and treat people differently depending where they were born then go ahead. Mackie may have handled this badly but you're not suggesting they are giving purposefully preferential treatment to Americans. are you?

I AM NOT ANTI US AND AM GETTING FED UP WITH ANYBODY IMPLYING THIS.
If somebody like Will K can sort out his world customers making sure they all pay the same price and have any payment option they want why cant Mackie.
