Non-para EQ for T2?

Searched the forums a bit, but clearly wasn't any good at it.. sorry if this is a repeat question. Can someone recommend a really good (free is nice) multi-band EQ, non-parametric, for T2? Does T2 support AU? If not, then VST I guess is good. I'm finding that my recording abilities aren't what they used to be and would like to tweak some tracks on very specific frequencies.
TIA

Kjaerhus Classic EQ. It's a 7-band stereo graphic EQ (you can adjust L and R separately). It's freeware in VST format. Decent sound quality, easy to use, and a few useful presets to start you off.

PS if you want to tweak some very specific frequencies, then parametric is what you want. Try the Voxengo ones for that, or Kjaerhus Golden EQ. (but you have to pay for those!)

Since he asked if T2 supported AU, I imagine he's on a Mac. So Kjaerhus, and Voxengo is out.
Heres one I found that runs on Mac. Its 49bux http://www.kvraudio.com/get/922.html.

Thanks for the replies so far. Yes, I'm on a Mac.. powerbook laptop... I'm used to using the AU 30+ band EQ that is available to any AU supporting Mac application and it's very, very nice for fixing my often botched recordings. The T2 para EQ is nice overall, but seems limited to 2 shaped-paras and a low end/high end shelf, which a lot of times just doesn't cut it for me when I screw up. I'm still learning our new board (Beringher Europower 5000) and assortment of mics which our band just got so my trackings sometimes need serious EQ help. Thanks again so far!headquest wrote:PS if you want to tweak some very specific frequencies, then parametric is what you want.

For extremely flexible, neutral sounding EQ, look no further than Elemental Audio Eqium. www.elementalaudio.com/products/eqium/index.html. VST, AU and RTAS on the Mac (also available for PC).
If you want colour, TriTone Digital Hydratone is where you might look.
HTH. Regards and good luck!

Just downloaded this. WHat is the difference between the standard and the mastering versions - they seem ideantical to me?

Just pointing out the obvious really, but remember that having a bunch of EQs in series isn't quite the same as having one multiband EQ. In series, the 2nd filter will process after the first, so if you cut something out in the first, you won't be able to boost those cut frequencies back in the 2nd (without loss of quality anyway)haydxn wrote:yes, remember that all EQ is cumulative, so you have as many filters as you like by stacking them up.

manual wrote: added a build for mastering. It needs 3 times higher CPU usage but the precision of eq is 3 times higher too.
