About the digidesign comment: This is not as bad as digi; if you want to use Alsihad, you have to buy digi hardware. This is not the case with Mackie.

cheese-eating surrender-monkeys, the lot of you!
For the record, my lunch just cost me £1.85. However, as I bought Sandwitch V.1 only yesterday for full price, I feel I should really have been offered some sort of upgrade path to Sandwitch V.2..
And why isn't there a downloadable version FFS?

You americans better eat a lot of sandwiches to keep Macktion going cuz none of the stores I asked about Tracktion knew shit about it!!!!
I live in Barcelona which is possibly the second biggest city in Spain and one of the cultural centers of Europe and after calling 10 different stores they all agreed on carrying Mackie hardware, but knew nothing about Tracktion and was asked why not buy Cubase instead!
Cubase is a pro application and not a toy
The future looks very dark for Tracktion after all.I agree that exposure thru a major distributor (¿?) is a great step for an underground program like T. But closing your other distribution system (download or whatever) seems kindda wrong.

I think you're getting a little carried away there mate.Germ wrote:

Jules doesn't seem to be living on the streets and Tracktion hasn't faded away yet with the user base it has, so why would it now if every paid up T1 user decides to upgrade either online or once the rebate offer is sorted for their country?
I think you all need to step back and take a deep breath . You might have to wait a week or two longer than those in say the U.S. but I doubt Mackie is going to say no to your money. I guess being from a couple of Islands somewhere in the South Pacific I'm used to having to wait a little longer to get things than some of you
