Has anyone else received any of these letters?
Please respond if so, tell from what labels?
Lets find out if these guys are a scam.

Haven't seen him for well over a year now, but when they signed, it was reportedly the biggest cash advance deal in New Zealand history!

They've probably got him as a zombie in some den of dirty business dealings somewhere - "you're soul is ours, noooowwww!"
Oddly enough, the dealings I had back in the day with small labels were the ones I had to eventually run screaming from. There are dishonest people at every level, however, there are just as many people that are on the up and up, and while yes, the dollar rules all, there are people in the entertainment business who truly love it and are willing to bend over backward for people just to see them succeed....ghost666 wrote:Joking aside...Glassback wrote: That'd be enough to send me running.

It is kinda funny how people assume that signing to a major means evil. I wonder why?
I haven't seen the guy for ages 'coz they've been touring the world, something they no doubt enjoy!
It was six o'clock headline news here in NZ when they played Letterman, simply because they were the first band from here to do it.
I'm not particularly into their thing etc, but other people are, I guess thats why they got some attention?
They built a studio with the proceeds of their advance, by the way.
I knew it'd be something like that to do with being succesful.ghost666 wrote:It is kinda funny how people assume that signing to a major means evil. I wonder why?
