MIDI Editor Grid

I apologize if this is a "RTFM" post, but how in the hell do you set the grid on the MIDI editor?
For instance, my song is in 4/4. The vertical lines are there for quarter notes. How do I change the editor so that I can see 8th or 16th notes if I want to?
This would help a ton for putting together fast drum rolls, etc.
Thanks,
MT

the grid resolution is mapped to your current zoom level.

OK. I'll go with that and see if I can understand it.
So, no way to manually set it? That sure would be nice.

That's right, no manual control, AFAIK.MT wrote:OK. I'll go with that and see if I can understand it.

Can anyone suggest a good host then for DFHS? That's the only thing I use MIDI for in Tracktion, and if there's a better way to host it, I'd love to know.
Thanks,
MT

if you have a roller mouse its not that bad!!!
it will tell you the snap setting you are at in a pop up bubble at the top left of the midi clip
i hope this will be added as well, but its not that bad when you get used to it
& IMO there is no host better than Tracktion
Subz
