Brief comment on Rewire, T2 or otherwise

I'm gonna' be the devils advocate here, because i was doing some searching on Rewire in general... Rewire in Sonar, cubase, etc. I love the concept of rewire, and frankly, i only gave it the time of day because Reason is such an amazing program. Fast, sounds incredible, and has some pretty darn amazing soft synths built in. But rewire, in my experience, has never been that stable in ANY environment. So, i have to say, i can't notice rewire being "bad" in T2, at all. It seems to be on par with whatever the most current version of rewire will allow, which is not "mindbogglingly" stable, in my experience. I use Samplitude 7.xx and Sonar 3.1.x mostly, so midi is not as important to me, as what the final audio mix/ tracking is. I'm a huge fan of Tracktion 1 and 2... It's just REwire has always seemed kinda' buggy to me, right at the source, having NOTHING to do with T1 OR T2. I dig guys (and gals) use it with Live, and Kinetic, and P5, etc. But, in ya' alls vast collective experience, hasn't rewire always been kinda' haywire? (practically writes itself sometimes, dudn't it?) LOL

I totally agree, but my experience with ReWire in T2 (Reason 3.x) is that it is slower than hell. Drags the GUI to a crawl when switching samples, etc.
Not that it's a T2 problem. Could be many things (I'm researching now).

What are you noticing? I've been using T2 and reason 3 a lot lately and havent noticed anything i'd consider buggy between the two. I pretty much get instant response when using the keyboard though tracktion to control reason. Havent really noticed any issues at all.

Yes, I figure it's a config issue on my part (hence, the 'I'm researching now' caveat). Probably something with the 2 UAD-1's and 2GB RAM, etc., etc.
I can say that I've never crashed using ReWire.
