For all of you that believe that the universe is in balance, here's my story of how I got T2 upgrade for free!!!!(I feel the need to say this ONLY to offset all the overall negatives said about Mackie and the cost of the T2 upgrade).
Last November, I got my first version of T1 with the Mackie ONYX firewire card. When I installed it on my computer, part of the install process was to register it online. All went smooth. However when I went to register my Mackie products, I had difficulty with thier web site. After a few e-mailings with Mackie, I thought I had my product registered, but when it came time to upgrade to T2, I was not recognized! After a few more emailings and a phone call to Mackie Tech support, I was given access to the upgrade FOR FREE!!!!
Now I dont want to get into the details of how this happened, but I will admit it happened due to my own stupidity!!! But the Guys at Mackie let this happen!!!! This is GREAT customer support!!!
So today, my world is a little better place!
