downloaded upgrade vs. boxed. Forked user groups?

Is it my imagination, or do T people spend more time than any other DAW owners, "contemplating the universe"... and there existence in it?? Geez, just use the damn program and get a life! I watched the "when will T2 be out" discussions for seems like years... Now it's out and, DOH! more discussions... I jus paid for the boxed version, because it's the only deal I had... Could I have possibly stumbled into a better deal than the upgraders Who cares! $130. won't even buy you a single synth these days!! And...

I promise to not say anything about upgrades, for at least 6 months!

Haven't seen HHG and Headquest...I actually quite liked the TV series. But then, I was a kid so it probably had a big impact on me. Though Zaphod's head back then was rather dodgy !
Martin Freeman as Arthur is an inspired choice I think.

well its a simple customer request, and no im not losing sleep on it. I simply SIMPLY want to know if upgrading to box will be significantly beneficial in the long run. if mackie who has my $20 already wants to tell us, it would be really ultra nice to let us know.

Why is it that you so desperately crave somebody from Mackie to say it? Some of them have already proven to be more out of the loop than we are! One person who receives a Mackie paycheck shouldn't be able to so easily calm your paranoic worrying. Whoever the rep is will just be another person, despite their employer. A person capable of mis-stating or not researching 100% thoroughly. Yet as soon as anyone from Mackie says "boo", peeps snap to attention. That's what gets people into unhappiness like in the thread in which it was mistakenly said that no NFR owners should have gotten any sort of rebate.

Myself, I prefer my own common sense and perspective on the issue's 'importance'. Really, Ron. I know you say you're not losing sleep and for what it's worth I believe you. But since you're not losing any sleep, why bother continuing to ask? You asked once, fair enough. People responded and you asked again. People responded and you asked yet again. So what if none of them are from Mackie?

Still is dodgy, but in a different way. Only one head is visible most of the time, which he lifts up to reveal the other one. Odd when you're used to the TV show.

The radio show was good too, of course. But Trillian had really hairy legs in that ...

So anyway, fwiw I just popped over to MyMackie and paid my $20 and I'm now a registered T2 owner/user

To be honest I'm almost totally using Ableton Live 4 as a host now, and that's very unlikely to change in the forseeable future. I think I have actually found my ideal host in Live 4, which is a happy thought!

BUT... $20 is such a great offer that it would be silly to pass it by. And as I'm really not interested in the plug bundle (especially bearing in mind I couldn;t use them in Live 4 ) there was no point in considering paying out for the box.

So now I have T2 ready for whenever I might need it sometime down the line. I would hate to find in three months time that I really want/need T2 and the offer has expired so it was ultimately a no-brainer
