Double clicking on a midi note with the selection tool no longer deletes it. Too bad; that was way handy. Why change things for the worse? And then not change:
Sends/Returns: they still don't work. Send one thing to a bus and it's fine. Send two and the timing gets screwed up.
But I guess everyone already knows this.
(But since everyone knows it, why doesn't it get fixed?)
And loop record/multiple takes would be a lot more useful if it could start and stop at any time like most implementations.
On the other hand, kudos to Mackie for an extremely fair upgrade policy.

Indeed!kL wrote: And loop record/multiple takes would be a lot more useful if it could start and stop at any time like most implementations.
I'm so happy with this upgrade. I payed for the full boxed version and I'm enjoying playing with slayer and RMIV. But I'm thinking about upgrading my T1 anyways so I can have it on more CPU's. 20bux for T2 is the bargain of the century. I'm having more fun making music now than ever before.kL wrote: On the other hand, kudos to Mackie for an extremely fair upgrade policy.

They did?? I thought it was pretty nifty. I guess I could see how one could miss and double click on the clip on accident and minimize it, but in T2 you cant double click on the clip to minimize it, you have to click on the top bar. So i think it would add a lot of functionality to be able to double click to delete.Lunch Money wrote:A lot of people hated the double-click delete, if memory serves.

Its the same prog. I just got the full version for the extra drum kits, and Slayer. One thing that sucks is that i cant use the RMIV wavs in Battery. But its all good. I read through the manual in about 10 minutes. I doesnt go into much depth so it didnt do me any good.Lunch Money wrote: Can't speak to the full boxed version, but in general I'm very pleased with the upgrade.

I don't want to delete. Wish I got it right the 1st time.
I'm happy the Dbl-Click delete has been deleted.

My explanation: I'm not going to use it, and as long as it's not in my way, I don't really care. I none of my other programs (e.g. Office etc.) is double-click used for delete.Tingle wrote:Would those who don't like it care to explain why?
I have a special RSI-mouse, using a regular mouse too long hurts. So I don't have all the regular features: No middle mouse button, no scroll wheel... (And I never knew I missed it with Tracktion, since I hadn't used that for a long while, until T2 arrived for only $20 [which translates to almost 0 EurosAD80 wrote: What type of person uses Tracktion without a scroll wheel??![]()
