But in Sonar it is more about the DX plugins, isn't it?
Since T2 doesn't support DX plugins I don't see any advantage...

Man I wish there would be DirectX support.... the Sonic Timeworks plug-ins are so nice... but I don't like the VB-Wrapper.... too clumsy

and also it can accept and spit out 64bit... that's an advantage

It can be video related, but only if the software calls upon those functions. Tracktion was developed to be as easily and universally cross-platform as possible, and therefore does not call upon DirectX algorightms which are Microsoft-only. No advantage whatsoever to having it installed, as far as Tracktion itself is concerned.

sadly not. would be great if it uses opengl or dx for it's gui, that would give a big perfomance boost because the used graphic card could do the work. for dx-plugins i don't need it, because you'll find a good vst for every dx plugin you like.

I still haven´t found a good alternative to Antares Autotune, Melodyne is not up to the task. And also like Lexicon Pantheon reverb...

opengl is cross platform
there's something from yamaha for pitch correction don't know it's name, and the only good thing of pantheon is it's name
( no seriously it isn't that good but sure, when you like it, you should be able to use it)
