I really want to make up my mind but I'm having mixed feelings I'd like to have faders


I have this one and at the moment I can only use faders and pan with T2 (fully working with Sonar 4), but I´m going to try Pethu`s way...It`s fully progamable and MIDI learn built in. What I really would like to control is the solo/mute functions.

Nope, since there are no keyboard shortcuts for them, and they are not assignable to controllers via T2... I wonder if they are supported by the Mackie gear?

There is a load key-mappings option in T2, does it mean that you can create your own ones?

You can change the keyboard chortcuts for all T2 commands listed in the keymappings tab... then save and reload these settings as you please. But I guess if a command isn't listed in the screen, there's no way you can add a key for it.

I wish that T had a standard menu in OS X, because you can set up any shortcut you want for any application as long as it has a menu item. But then you would have to drastically alter the app in Windows to do this and it wouldn't be as elegant.

if you can send midi note data from your controller then acess to all!!!(not just the first 8 ) mutes & solos are there

notes 8 to 15 are the solos for tracks 1 to 8

notes 16 to 23 are mutes for tracks 1 to 8

volisity settings for thease are 0

if you trigger notes 46 & 47 thease will make your 8 mutes & solos jump to the next(47) or last(46) 8 tracks

I've done some using Macromedia Freehand 10. It's a lot of cutting of holes, but it's doable!

If you print on ordinary paper using lots of colour, the overlay will tend to buckle, so placing a transparent cover on top might help (for example, an overhead transparency.)

Evolution used to sell blank, "graded" overlays in their online shop, but I don't find them there anymore.

I'm thinking I may be able to take a blank overlay to Kinkos and have them duplicate it. I wonder what that would cost. But that way I could have 10 made and use them for different synths.
