This is a bizzare worlddee ess pee wrote:I wish to sell my T2. It is unusable and so far a waste of 20$ despite all I can try. My T1 still works great and the bugs that bother me in T1 are still in T2, despite I have checked to make sure they were being reported.
Hopefully this is the right place to ask, can I keep my T1 and sell only T2? Or am I stuck with T2 because I took the upgrade option?
I dont think it would be bad to wait for fixes. I think the many problems with the software does not deserve my 20$ and wasted time waiting.

I bet that 2.5 would cost a good bit more than $20, so your $20 might turn out to be a decent investment in 6-9mo or so...

I am frustrated with the release of software so anticipated and so incomplete
To me it became the principle of wasting 20$ on what has been almost nothing.
I changed from my mac that worked perfectly and I was able to write my own software on for this because it had many things that looked inspirational.
Maybe I should just make my frustrated some inspiration and write a bunch of tractkion hate songs in tracktion

why change from mac? I use T on mac and love it. I bought the upgrade a) to support the platform b) midi controller mapping c) better key-bindings d)option arrow shifts clips! d) hide input section. and I got an expensive mastering plug with very nice eq to boot! not almost nothing!

He's got Version 2 remorse. Not uncommon. Heck, someone even wrote a book about it! If it hits you hard it can be devastating. The crushed hopes, the betrayal, the feature creep, the utter angst of it all. Fortunately most of the symptoms dissapear with Version 3: New Promise Edition. And statistically most people prefer the Odd releases over the Even.

Anyone who thinks T1 is better than T2 and that $20 upgrade was a waste of money is daft. Plain and simple. I would have paid $20 for the cc controller support alone.

Maybe reading some of this thread and my other thread would help you understand why?AD80 wrote:OHow do you like T1, and "hate" T2? Are you drunk?

I run linux on my mac. Not OSX

Now that's just silly. You give up all the benefits of owning a Mac by running Linux and pay way more for hardware? Seems to me if I wanted to run Linux I definitely wouldn't get a Mac unless I wanted both Linux and OS X.dee ess pee wrote:I run linux on my mac. Not OSX

OK......dee ess pee wrote: T1 will not work on my mac.
Now let's go back to your first post....
So, T1 doesn't work on your Mac, but T1 still works great? What part of this thread did I miss that would somehow make sense of these two statements.dee ess pee wrote:I wish to sell my T2. I'm taking a wild guess and thinking that you can go back to using T1, but only on a PC - not on your Mac? Or, it worked on your Mac before you installed Linux? What are you running T2 on then?
