Yeh, great song and quite true lyrics too (like money for nothing).
I used to play this song in our set quite a few years ago when I played with my band in a disco twice a week. I used to sing the song too, quite a job !
I still enjoy the production work on this song

FWIW The Buggles were Trevor Horn (who went on to produce Frankie Goes to Hollywood and many other eighties chart topping beat combos) and Jeff Downes (who went off to play keyboards in Asia (the band, not the continent) and Yes (but maybe not in that order).

Personally I still think they were better as the Buggles

Yes and I wrote all of Dylan's tunes.

Big Trev also did ABC, Seal, and most recently...Belle and Sebastian

. Top job too. Apparently he only produced their last record cos his son likes em, and he contacted them and not vice versa.

Kind of: he played on it. I don't think it's true that he wrote it all himself or anything.
