Drawing automation data

I think, drawing controller data is much more comfortable than drawing automation data.
Clicking on a line to create new nodes can be very cumbersome, especially if you want to modify data.

Is there a way to draw the automation data like for example in Project5 ?

I like the way, automation is handled in Project 5.
