I record audo, all is fine. When i reopen the session at a later time, some clips are blanked out.
Now, Veiw source info reveals an audio clip in the window that shows, but this is not the audio clip that was originally there. Whats more is that the original clip resides in the project folder and if i manually scan all audio files i can usually find it.
If i were to manually change source file info, it is ok for the time that the session is open, but saving it and opening it at a later time again resorts to the Blank clip.
It seems to me that Tracktion at times bungles with the Audio File names. xRecord1, xRecord2 etc.. I think some files end up with the same name.
Also this has happened in more than one session, and I remember having posted about it before. Fortunately for me it has happened only with clients who are good friends of mine, or dumb enough not to understand whats up when i tell them that they need to retake.
Has this happened with anyone else ?
still, im peeved.

Can the temp directory have something to do with this ?
Also, I think this happens with takes for which I use the "abort current recording, disscard anything recorded, and restart" command. (i have a hot key assigned to it).
Think using this command might be screwing up things...

I recorded a whole CD of classical music with that function assigned to F10, and didn't loose a single take.sidhu wrote: Also, I think this happens with takes for which I use the "abort current recording, disscard anything recorded, and restart" command. (i have a hot key assigned to it).
