how to export a midi clip?

well? i need to export a midi clip from within T2 so i can use it in another app

Click Export in the lower left panel.

You may have to disable any filters on the track.

i tried it. but it exports it as an audio file. i just need the midi data. or am i missin smth?

The export button has a choice of "create and audio file" or "create a midi file". Choose "create a midi file".
