Easiest way to use acidised samples 'within' T ?

I might be imagining something that does not exist, but is there some sort of plugin to add the handling of acidised samples to a host or is it a matter of having a second app to handle them? Could such a second app be tied to T2 to track tempo / changes to the file on the fly?

I use ACID in rewire slave mode for loop intensive stuff.
I believe there are some VST plugs that handle ACID loops.

Project5 might be something else you could rewire.

I'm uessing that Acid Express doesn;t support rewire then ?
- doh!
I should have mentioned it would need to be freebie / cheapy. I might just have to use the free Acid Express to do tempo/pitch conversions manually and inport . . .

That's what I do. I have Acid 3 and I just set the tempo to my match my Tracktion project. I import the file into Acid and tweak the Acid properties (transient divisions). Then I render down a couple bars of the stretched wave and whack that back into Tracktion. I've got it down to a pretty quick work flow now.

If you are referring to Acid Express, it doesn't render to audio - sorry.timmyo wrote:Yep - that'll probably do me, and the price (£0) is good
You have to buy at least the Music Studio version to get a render to a good quality audio file. Express let's you render .wma files at 48kbps - pretty crappy.
I was lucky and got a copy of Acid Music 2.0 at Best Buy for free after rebate several years ago. I construct loops at desired tempo in ACID 2.0, then save to .wav for import into T, then in T I use them, beatslice them, etc.
But really, you should join into the FR for timestretch/pitchstretch capability for T - that's what would be the nicest thing - Make T the only software you really need for song arranging. Why mess with Re-Wire?

Re the FR : pardon my being behind the curve, but is there a formal list of what's been FR'd and what may/may not be on the way for future releases?

Try the sticky thread a wee bit higher up, called "Feature Requests"
It's not official, exactly, but it's sort of what board members are asking for

You might try Solo One. It's interesting loop/sample player and it synchronize to host automatically.

Can someone give me a run down on exactly how you use Solo to play Acidized loops in Tracktion? Thanks.
