Can anyone confirm, if the two Plugins of T2 work with other hosts as well?

Post

I haven't tested it, but my understanding is that the versions that come with T2 are limited to T2.

I haven't tested it,
... sorry, but this is exactly why i am interested in confirmation, has anyone tried....?

Thx

RMIV is locked to Tracktion 2 and is using T2's internal format.

Sampletank is a full-on VST capable of being used with other hosts.

I wonder if this is SampleTank 1 SE or SampleTank 2 SE?

In any case, I would think that the "SE" means that it is restricted to the set of instruments supplied.

It is SampleTank SE. The soundset is a custom Mackie set chosen by me and the product manager to compliment the other instruments in the bundle. For example, we have an FM synth and some analog synths, so we did not use SampleTank sounds for that. We focused on acoustic instruments (horns, strings, pianos), some exotic percussion, and other stuff that standard synthesis and the T2 bundles did not cover.

Complete list of ST SE patches please? And also, is there any added benefit to RMIV using native T2 format? Just in case I have to choose between a bundle or stand-alone.

There is no performance benefit to the T2-native version of RMIV over the standard version.

As for Sampletank sounds, OK, you asked for it! :o
