Does anybody have any experience so far?. Do T1 work with Tiger? I want to upgrade to Tiger but only if it works with T1.
And what about T2?
Thank you very much in advance

There are some issues with wave files apparently for both T1 and T2 in Tiger.
It was discussed in this thread http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86085
Jules is on to it as far as I know

The problem has been discussed here since May 3 and Mackie tech support claims it is already solved and hopes to have that solution out in "the next couple of weeks or so"...Steve Prince wrote:Jules is on to it as far as I know![]()

Um, yes we know about it and are working on a fix.larsfarm wrote:The problem has been discussed here since May 3 and Mackie tech support claims it is already solved and hopes to have that solution out in "the next couple of weeks or so"...

Can't help feeling a bit surpriced at the slow reaction. Mackie isn't Apple or IBM, that usually are exceedingly slow, and I've seen them both react much faster... Smaller organisations usually have a much faster turnaround...Beno wrote:larsfarm wrote:Um, yes we know about it and are working on a fix.

Depends on the nature of the problem though, doesn't it?

Quite! Reading a WAV-file is something one expects from a DAW;-) especially Mackie generated WAV-files, files generated by a Mackie SDR. This is one of the early announced features from past christmas... and it doesn't work.willowhaus wrote:Depends on the nature of the problem though, doesn't it?

To be fair 10.4 broke it, but the other way around. It works in 10.3.x.

Yes and it was an undocumented change in 10.4 that Jules is fighting against. Believe me, we will release the fix as soon as it's ready.

Folks inmy experience it is not unusual for an interval to pass between the release of new system software and fixes/patches for DAWs and other audio software. Hang out in 10.3.9 - Tiger will only get cheaper....
