My motivation is that I REALLY want WS to be developed further, and I don't want everyone to whine and drag William's name through the dirt and make this into a huge drama queen spectacle.

If anyone has unrefunded money, I suggest they deal directly with William.

He most likely won't have money, so you will likely have to think of more creative or delayed ways to settle things.

I'm pleased you posted this thread whyterabbyt because I'm it's possible that my posts criticising William's behaviour in the Wusik forum have been deleted by now.

I too have invested all the way down the line with William. Pre-buying because he makes good products and I wanted him to continue. But I'm also one of the people who pre-ordered v1.2 and now I'm being extorted to pay another $30 otherwise I'll lose the original $30. That is totally out of order!

In kevvvv's defence he did criticise DC at the time and William's business acumen in the Wusik forum yesterday. I think that this goes beyond the mods and involves everyone who has supported William through each of his 'crisis' over the years. If enough of us boycott him instead of feeding into his impulsive behaviour then perhaps he'll learn not to f**k people around like this. Here's hoping anyway.

As a long time purchaser of his products I think it is time to accept an end to an era. The best thing William can do, IMHO, is get a day job to pay the rent and try to recover financially. I know it has been suggested before and he refused, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Programming VSTi's may be more enjoyable if you don't have to sell X number of units to pay the rent. Surely someone that can program Wuzik Station can get a decent job as a programmer.

WilliamK...this is most assuredly not the first crises. This is one of several and you've had boatloads of support. The difference between this "crisis" and the last ones is that you were willing to make good to your customer base. Your current position is "support me or lose money you've already paid me." I think this is unconscionable and skirts fraud. To turn around and trash the people who have supported you through all the other difficulties is really unfathomable.

I'm sorry for your problems but you've got to make good on your contracts and credibility. You'll not see another cent from me otherwise.
