Using tracktion with US-428. They work well together as far as I can tell. I can use the faders to control the volume and other filters but can't figure out how to assign transport controls. Is Mackie reserving this feature only for purchasers of their Mackie control harware?

how are you using the 428?
If it offers MCU emulation then everything should more or less work.
If you are using automation mapping then the transport controls might be able to be mapped via MMC.

you can assign faders to the volume, but not transports, not sure why. Im still trying to figure it out as well.
Please help anyone else who owns this same great control surface, or maybe mackie could respond by making support for it?

How did you get the 428 to work with T2?
I can't seem to even get the faders happening.
Like what 428 control surface protocol works?
What do I need to do within T2?
T2 doesn't seem to be getting any midi info from my 428.
thanks

Thanks valley and rpc for the replies. I am not sure if the US-428 has MCU emulation. Anyone know? I do hope Mackie includes support for the US-428. That would be great.
Scoop,
I just used the automations controls page to assign the 428 faders to control volume. If you go to the settings page make sure that your 428 control is enabled. Hope that helps

If you don't have direct MCU support, your device may be able to send MMC commands - check the manual for it. If it does, try enabling MMC for the MIDI device it is connected to.
Otherwise, if you are feeling brave you can try using one of the various MIDI to key-command translators to connect the 428 buttons to Tracktion functions.
