Luigi has NO history of unreliable business/personal tactics. None at all, so please edit your post.greendoor wrote:I said DashSynthesis - when William K was there. What if you DONT 'save' Wusik?

Incorrect. William started DashSignature as far as I recall, and Liqih joined him as the developer, bringing his own synths to the company. Then William left, leaving the assets to Liqih, in return for money owed to him.
But both these guys seem to have an unreliable business history,
That is a complete lie. There has been no unreliability in the business history of anything Liqih has been running. Any issues with DashSignature date to a point in time when William was running the business.
and they seem to like asking for money before product.
Another lie. Liqih has never done this for any of his products.
I say, build your product first or else shut up about it.
I say, get your facts straight, first, or else shut up. And I suggest you apologize to Liqih.

my first thought was gambling, but you are certainly right about the problem.
sad situation. he definitely needs personal help, no money. is someone in a position to provide it? i mean, someone living in his neighbourhood.
as for Liquih, i fully agree with whyterabbyt
greendoor, don't make incorrect assumptions that might damage one's reputation.

Sorry to disturb the natural flow of the discussion, but I want to put an official word from DashSignature here.
Just to make it clear:
DashSignature is in no way associated or involved with Wusik, and it's not our practice to sell products that do not exist
Speaking for myself, years ago I did my best to keep alive A0 Audio, but what I could do was not enough. I felt that shutting down the whole thing and refunding the few (two) unsatisfied customers was the right thing to do.
I owe no money to anyone, but I still owe a lot, from a human standpoint, to a lot of nice people that supported and helped A0 Audio.
As for liquih, all I can say is that I blindly trust him.

Apologies if I have spread any false information. I admit I don't know the facts - only that I personally feel cheated by DashSynthesis - whoever those guys were. I want to make it clear I understand DashSignature is a different company, and I have never dealt with them and can make no comment about DashSignature. Only DashSynthesis - whoever that was.
I don't mean to damage anyones reputation - sorry about that. But I am opposed to the principle of VST developers asking for money UP FRONT before they have finished their product. That's why I feel cheated. I don't know who Liquih is - so sorry if I have implied that I do, or have any problem with Liquih. I may have been wrong about William K - but I seem to recall his name from a LOT OF SPAM that I constantly recieved after buy a DashSynthesis package deal that did not eventuate as promised.

hello, but I haven't updated from Eve 1.24 CM because I have tapped about 2% of it .I have not updated from Wusikstation 1.1.06 because I haven't tapped more than 1% of it.Keep WS alive ,why,if any new users want it I gather you can download a crack.Really ,what would I do with version 2 when version 1.1.06 is so f**king amazing.I took my chances ,I paid my money, and I am very pleased. There is alot of neurotisism about having the most uptodate around here, hence, individuals will feed in and pay money, real money, for something that doesn't exist.Hello, who has got the problem. The pursuit,"frenzied" of new software is an addiction too, which is I suspect part of why there has been so much feeling around this.Stay in the day and be happy with what you have got, which around here is a whole heaP OF AMAZING STUFF.Luigi replied very patiently to a query I had about certain synths and lock up,which I think now might be related to ISQ conflicts [a nice problem to have if you like feedback ],and I haven't had any problems with W either, because I am content with what I have got.I will buy more software off Luigi,if he keeps doing his thing.I hope W keeps producing software, but in the nicest possible way,I am not going to hold my breath. That is his decision.I know for me the puruit of my passion has brought me to the brink of despair. My guess is that W should have shut up and kept off the internet for a month when the shit hit the fan, rather than invite,in a naive way that I can understand, about?? how many people in, to give things a good chew.

We at electronisounds were JUST starting to build our own VST-i based on the wusik engine. at this point, i'm no longer sure it's a safe venture.
anybody have a say on:
"How would WK's rep and past performance effect your decision to buy a new wusik engine VST-i with over 1,000 presets from multiple sound designers (covering bread-and-butter sounds all the way to drum kits, gruv kits, and fx beds?) we already have GIGS and GIGS of sample data, and we want to be SURE to choose an engine/platform that doesnt already have a bad conotation to it.
any thoughts are very much welcome on this idea.
thanks for listening.

I'd buy it. Wusikengine is a great engine. Even if future enhancement is questionable. I hope there will be a good solution for everyone.
perception: the stuff reality is made of.

what you see is what you get, wusic is an excellant engine, plus quality samples, sounds good,if you get the business done to your satisfaction, what the heck,as I said W hasn't done me any harm, and again,I am rather surprised at level of feeling. You may have healthy competion,Eve and Wusicstation have alot of shared concept.Junebug ,I would check demo out and I really don't think anyone would feel your project was "tainted"--too schizotypal even for me.
