Bug Report: Copying and pasting Midi clips

I have an edit with a lot of tempo changes in it (tempo mapped from some recorded audio) to which I added a one bar midi pattern on a new track. Then I pressed ctrl & c to copy it and held down Ctrl & v to paste about a hundred bars of it through the track. After doing this I noticed that the pasted copies seem to have retained their absolute length ie. when going from a slower tempo to a faster one the clip overlaps into the next bar and vice versa, although the timing of the notes and the grid lines are still correct. I tried a new track and midi pattern to see if this happened again and on this one, not only were the clip lengths off, but the timing of the notes was also. After playing around a bit I found that if you zoom right out and then ctrl & v the clips end up all over the place, with huge gaps between some and others overlaying each other completely. :?

Can anyone confirm this :?:

I just got a chance to test it out. I can confirm they keep their absolute length going from one tempo to the other. I didnt get the random paste thing tho.

Funnily enough, this got me last night. Also, if you select two consecutive clips and paste them to a different tempo, the first one is fine but the second one is offset - I thought I had lost the ability to play in time!

I haven't been able to cut and paste more than one clip at a time, when copying from one project to another. Is this changed in Tracktion 2?

Thanks for confirming, I was begining to think I must have been hallucinating. Have either of you seen the problem where the actual notes are offset and out of time, as well as the clip lengths?

I have found that using control dragging the clips always works perfectly, with no problems, so thats an alternative for making a few copies, but it's a pain in the arse if you want to do a lot.

Also, have any beta testers tried this yet?
