Isn't Manytone safe? It's a seperate plug-in using its own Wuzik engine, no? So can't you just continue to sell your product, as is, or create new soundsets? or is it more complicated than that?manytone wrote:...Manytone is doing all we can to assure the continued success of ManyStation and the Engine. The Bottom line is, that the Wusik Engine is a Great tool for alot of us and we wish to see it developed further.
I just want you all to know that we as Manytone are doing everything in our means to save what we can from all this. No false Promises of anything at this time .... Only know that we are fighting for our Life and for you, the Users!
I will say more as soon as I have more details myself and a better grasp of the full situation.
Thanks to all concerned.

What if you DONT 'save' Wusik?

Well of course we can... We plan on that...
But to assure the continued developement of the Software itself... we need Williams code as he owns that.
We only license it from him. I want to see ManyStation Updated with new features etc ....not just soundsets. That is what will make it a better stronger Product.
Thanks for the concern.

We at electronisounds were JUST starting to build our own VST-i based on the wusik engine. at this point, i'm no longer sure it's a safe venture.
anybody have a say on:
"How would WK's rep and past performance effect your decision to buy a new wusik engine VST-i with over 1,000 presets from multiple sound designers (covering bread-and-butter sounds all the way to drum kits, gruv kits, and fx beds?) we already have GIGS and GIGS of sample data, and we want to be SURE to choose an engine/platform that doesnt already have a bad conotation to it.
any thoughts are very much welcome on this idea.
thanks for listening.

for me it is the only sample engine that would make me buy a soundset based instrument. It is not just a rompler (hate that word...hate it!) it is so much more, and with it's excellent features : cpu usage ratio, i think that it is definitely a great way to go as it is for soundset based products.
