There's lots of layered synths in it; my best guess is that you mean the imposcar or fm7xpress. When exactly does the sound set in? Let me know and I'll try to replace it with another one this weekend :)
B.t.w. no eq was used.
I mean the one starting at 0:57 and playing to 1:10. That one is aliasing heavily and needs some high frequencies to be cut. I think that the same synth/sound is used from 1:20 forward troughout the whole song. I'd seriously consider replacing that synth.

I just listened trough my master again and it definately has too much low frequency energy. Too much 70hz and lower. Oh well.. one learns.

Actually it's not that bad as you think

ok bmanic. listened to yours. I think the low end sounds a bit muddy....almost "round"...like it's muffled in the mix somwhere. And the volume of the highs and mids are too loud in comparison to the lows...it drowns them out. other than that, it's pretty good.

peace!

Hmm.. the lows could be true but as for the highs and mids still being too high? In comparison of the original the highs and high-mids were dramatically reduced to even out the balance. In an analyser you'll see it quite clearly. Are you sure your monitoring is accurate?

EDIT: btw. the slightly "sloppy" lowend (lacking some punch, being very round) comes from the doulbe mp3 compression as I had to use the original mp3, decode it, master, then encode another mp3.

Cheers!
