Locking Clips to SMPTE Time

I've looked through the manuals for T2 and cannot find any mention about locking a clip to a particular time. This is a must for film/video scoring. Am I missing it or should I put this in as a feature request?

If it is not implemented at the moment please take this as a HUGE feature request.

yeah ... i could see a 'lock clip' button in the properties panel being useful ...
