Some of us are looking for a "good enough" approximation of an acoustic drum kit that's easy to program, I guess.

cool but strange, I'd thought that the step sequencer would have rather fit electronic stuff

thanks, keep the feedback coming
for me too, it's the most "easy to use" step sequencer I know ...very easy to make an accoustic drum sequence.

I am suggesting more ethnic/world percussion...

:)

About the Step sequencer Liqih. How about making it use all 24 slots insted of the first ten. Without making the grid smaller you could just add a 'page up/down' button. I noticed that in the CM review they pointed this limitation with the sequencer out.
Just a thought.

Excellent drums though brings back memories of my old Boss drum machine. Easy to use and loads of drums at my finger tips. Nice work!

But the sampler can be used to play any midi file so hence the requests for more acoustic kits!

But I thought it was a PRO version!! :hihi:

so how do you call it with 128 layers per pad and 1 GB of kits?, <wink>

I vote for HQ acoustic kits/ethnic instruments. Quite a lot of old drum boxes used 8 bit samples. What is the point of using 64 bit processing to recreate them?

Sounds like 32bit float 96kHz! Bring it on! (as long as I can afford it)

Cheers,

I would like to have more premade patterns (all styles). Ability to snap to smaller time intervals in pattern editor also could be nice. Overall DK+ is excellent drum machine, it's pity I didn't found it earlier.

I voted for Acoustic, too. But here's a real crazy idea: what if you added the option to load a loop, chop it, and assign each hit to a pad - something along the lines of the Korg ES-1.

1 Gb of kits? I assume this won't be downloadable.... and that there will be an upgrade path.
