Pitch shifting stuck?!?

Greetings, I wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. I recently installed Tracktion 2 and all of my previous Tracktion projects are playing back twice as fast. When I pitch shift the audio tracks down an octave they seem normal, but all of the vst tracks are still playing twice as fast and what I'm assuming is an octave higher. This is true of the demo songs as well. VSTs running as standalones are fine as is Reason. Any clues? Is this something to do with the new quicktime features and fps?

I have an Echo Indigo IO. If I don't set the sample rate to "locked" using the Echo ASIO control panel, Tracktion fails to set the sample rate correctly, and I get something similar to what you're describing. Since all my samples are 16/44, this isn't really a problem, I just keep the SR locked. This behavior is consistent between T1 and T2, and it doesn't happen with energyXT or WMP or anything else, so I assume it's a bug in the way Tracktion handles setting the SR.

hmmmnnn ... the sample rate on my indigo IO ISNT locked and i havent seen (heard ??? ) this issue EVER in T1 or T2 (and as a tester ive used T2 a fair bit) ...

... other variables ???

That's it! Thank you you so much! As it happens I do use an echo indigo quite often when I'm not recording. I just set it to lock and now it's fine. Whew!

@littlenemo:
Excellent! Glad it helped.

@pHz:
It would be great if the testers could get to the bottom of this.

Try combinations of the following:
-16/44 samples only
-24/96 samples only
-samples with mixed rates
-multiple apps on virtual outs with different rates
-locked and unlocked

I dunno if it is relevant but my MAudio tends to play up (with a couple of different apps) when the rate is not locked, but only when some other audio app (anything from winamp upwards) is running at the same time.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!
