OK, I admit it.
I am just too positive to be a Tracktion user.
Every time I play with Traction (for fun, as opposed to say, making loops, which is work) it actually seems to create music on its own.
Like this
This song was totally unforseen. I was working on something else entirely. I happened to import the wrong file, getting this backward guitar solo from another song that I had abandoned but not deleted.
Something seemed to click, but not quite. A quick transpose: eureka.
I was floored.
I still am.

Yeah most guitarists do think that guitars should be panned right in the middle.Lunch Money wrote:Just listened. Awesome fun! The lead guitars are a little too panned if you ask me, which makes the two channels feel less like they're swirling into and around one another. But it's good stuff.
Greg
But yeah, maybe some swirl enhancement is in order.
I want to have some fun with this. It might even become a full fledged pop song with a solo.
Thanks for the listen Greg!

Very good stuff. Where are those guitars from? I've been dying for that sound myself and havent actually found it yet?
Those are exactly what i'm looking for.

Those guitars started as the solo from a blues song written and played by my band mate Charles.
That was reversed, transposed up a major third, and subjected to various effects, especially my favorite, the Elottronix XL.
The Bass and Drums are loops from our upcoming loop c.d.
Thanks for listening.
