ALL FONTS are displaying wrong

I just needed to reinstall OS X. Long story, my fault.

After about 3 hours of work restoring all my apps and docs, I'm finally caught up. Only thing is, and I know this sounds minor, Tracktion isn't displaying ANY of the fonts correctly. I'm not sure why. I checked font smoothing in system prefs and looked everywhere I could but Tracktion's fonts are still displaying wrong.

I've seen Tracktion run on a number of operating systems and there has always been a consistent look until now. Ordinarily, there seems to be a set amount of font smoothing within Tracktion's gui. What's wrong here?

It's surprising how much this affects legibility and workflow on a large monitor when all the fonts are off-kilter. Not only is font smoothing not working but the fonts that do display aren't evenly spaced or bold.

Before anyone suggests it, I've already tried reinstalling and repairing permissions.

hours later...

I'm exhausted. Stayed up till 3 am reinstalling OS X, reverting back to 10.3.8. Restored all my apps and docs and opened Tracktion...

The fonts are still displaying non standard.

I tried reinstalling Tracktion 1 then installing Tracktion 2 over it....same results. Why?

I'm stuck. This is strange. I'm going to bed. Church on 4 hours sleep with Mother In Law visiting. If anyone still cares about this tomorrow, I'll try to post screenshots.

O.K. here's a screenshot. I also just posted some new schemes in that thread. All of those shots have the same fonts - not bold or smoothed. I'm looking for Jules email address. I have it somewhere.
