question for mackie/Raw material

I have recently tried the demo of Tracktion 1.6 after many years of Cubase VST use (I eventually came to believe that profanity directed at Cubase was part of the creative process!) I love it! however my problem is that I am currently running Win98, which I know you are working on. I was wondering if I purchase T2 (boxed), could you at that time grant me a T1 license, so I can work with it until the win98 compatibility is fixed, or I upgrade to the new computer later this year. I am planning on buying T2 anyway, but my demo period is running out, and I'm not happy about going back to cubase now!
