Hi!
I'd like to have a clip based (not audiofile based)
reverse option.

me to
.. (for me i wouldn't mind if it was a file operation.. as long as creating a real copy copy and reversing it was a single click operation accessable from the arrange screen).

Just thought i'd throw in a "me too!". I have been wishing for this feature for years! It's actually probably the one feature i really miss in T2 (does that make me weird?)

me too. it's simple to reverse files atm but it's a minimum 3 step procedure- and that's the kind of thing that computer systems are able to bypass, seeing as it's always the same steps. make new copy of this file. basic operations->reverse. copy file. paste into the edit.
it'd be great to be clip based and non-destructive too... that way you can reverse just a clip, without having to render a section first (because copying the file does the WHOLE file and you may just want to do a piece).

It's useful if you're doing a lot of audio editing, for example when editing drum loops for IDM or similar genres.

Just for the record, to give some opposition:
I DON'T want this useless feature, ok?

I'm actually with aldi on this one-- why is this such a much-needed feature? Just out of curiousity, what are all y'all using reversing for? I keep imagining reversed guitar solos or reversed, layered, then built up vocals... both of which are getting pretty old as far as techniques go. So what am I missing? Obviously something...!
