Tracktion users in the US have been offered a mail-in rebate valid with the purchase of the boxed version through authorized Mackie Tracktion 2 dealers. Internationally, this rebate strategy was not possible given the regulations set by each country.
As such, we are exploring alternate upgrade options for international users, and will provide more information shortly. We apologize for this delay to our international Tracktioneers, and we appreciate your patience as we work to finalize a solution.
FYI - Taking advantage of current upgrade options such as the $20 online offer will not invalidate other offers.

Unless I messed something and there has been an announcement to the contrary, I suppose it is safe to assume that in Mackie's eyes loyal T1 users outside USA are just a bunch of low-life nerfherding scum then ? No T1/T2 rebate ?

It's almost a month ago! I'm not very much into the 'Mackie-sucks-because-of-the-promo-video-and-lots-of-other-small-things-and-bla-bla-when-do-we-ever-get-a-mail?' debate. But i am slowly getting into 'Mackie-sucks-because-they-say-they're-going-to-work-something-out-for-the-international-customers-but-NOTHING-F*******-HAPPENS!'Mackie Administrator posted May 18, 2005 11:33 AM wrote:As such, we are exploring alternate upgrade options for international users, and will provide more information shortly.
I should be possible to work something out. A lot of companies makes upgrade deals sold through music stores. Mackie is a big company - it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... it should be possible.... AARRGH!!
All T1 and no T2 with bundled plugs makes Bosqoue! go crazy..

Yes, and I've missed my window of opportunity anyhow. Without a Summer School post this year, I have 2 months of being a broke-ass scrub before the next school year starts and I (hopefully) find either a job or start picking up shifts.
Whereas, a month ago I was under the safe illusion that I had extra money and I could have purchased.
