I've tried the AA demo and I like it, but it didn't just grab me by the sack and make me need to buy it for $180. I'm interested in trying alternatives around that price or less.
Thanks much,
Dave
the Princeton StereoROom is the only algo verb that sounds superb at 100% wet settings when inserted (not send)greendoor wrote:Ugh - why does Princeton appeal?
I have to agree with Greendoor on the Princeton verb. It's a nice verb, but for my needs the AA has my attention. As for the Pace implimentation on Princeton, it doesn't have me concerned since it's a simple C/R protection. Princeton's use of Pace's copy protection has been over reacted to by most in my opinion.greendoor wrote:Ugh - why does Princeton appeal? I admit the gui is simple and effective. It sounds good, because it's eq'd dark and the level is abnormally low. Even cheesy cheap reverbs can sound good when eq'd dark and set lower enough so you don't hear the resonances in the reverb tail. But PACE - that puts me right off, sorry. Deal breaker right there. Gotta love AAR - and next, R66.
Ditto!dlt123 wrote:Now I am waiting for AA to have a Group Buy. I'll jump immediately since I know that they will definitely make their numbers for lowest price.
Come on AA, get the GB started, I'll buy in.![]()
