Aleksey:

Is there any possibility of having the affected signal range switchable between a x-over (like the original version) and a band-pass (like V.093)?

XOver is exactly 2 times higher than the Center. I'm not sure having separate XOver and Center controls will be beneficial.

Count me in on the Group Buy - this thing is killer!

It would seem to me that the target for this type of plug should not be to beef up tame kicks.

Your core audience as you mentioned previously - is electronic music (in various genres) producers. These are the people who will hunger for new, creative, more flexible ways to make the low end of their mixes better and better.

This audience has libraries of already phat kick samples. But what they need always - are new creative tools for tweaking the tone of the kicks they have in relation to the bass. Or tools to throw at the lowend in general.

There've been some posts about typical chains for kick drums. If a lowend/punch/kick focused plug can lessen the dependence on processor intensive, and time intensive setups of multiple plugs - then it could be very beneficial.

Just some thoughts.
true. and why not make an innovative tool that makes the best sounding bass ever made? =) .. the way that the low end has changed in the last 10-15 years .. back then it was natural, normal mixing techniques, but the basses now days seem magic .. listen to hujaboy stuff or the skazi remix of nirvanas teen spirit ... now THAT'S some HEAVY BASS, man.. and STILL not /bloated/ ..

and punchy! ariticulated .. etcetc

I'll definitley buy this when it's ready.

Thanks Aleksey.

There's nothing an agnostic can't do if he really doesn't know whether he believes in anything or not.

hmmkayy... gotta try it a couple of times more, then..

i just had the feeling that the plug made the lower end fluttering somehow .. or what's the word .. less exact anyway ..

and actually imho failed to get that great, powerful OOMP down there without gettin' all muddy like ..

but, could be, maybe this plug was ment as something else than rbass, maxxbass, etc ..

gotta play around a bit more, as i said ..
