Second, I am thinking there is a bit of a problem with the current legato mode. IMO legato mode should retrigger the envelope unless you play one key while holding down the last.
and that's how it works in EVE ONE too, how can you have it different?, <grin>
Right now, if you play one note with a moderate release in legato mode, and then another - it doesn't retrigger until the first note is done releasing, regardless if you are still holding the first note.

What I'm trying to say is this should only happen if the notes are overlapping. If the notes dont overlap, the envelopes should retrigger.

setting the pitch bend to 6 and 7 semitones seems to be the same

I agree with you, sorry but here I don't get that,

the second note retriggers even if the first release is not done,

which keyboard are you using?

I'm using a Technics WSA1. But it has nothing to do with that, trust me. Here I made a mp3. Its me playing the default sound, AOS analog voices. All I did was raise the release to about 40%. Now the first series of notes is me playing in mono mode. The next is in legato. NONE of the notes are overlapping. They should sound identical, but something funny is going on because the releases are overlapping. Note that the filter isn't activated.

thanks Damien,

the intro is very nice then it gets quite weird,
the timing mostly, what's that?, <grin>

Post

Yes the EP intro is great, after that I'm not so sure...

yes it supposed to be disturbing after a clean intro.
after that the sitar is supposed to be agressive :)
Btw, it's was juste a 15 minutes try with a new instrument, not a serious composition. thanks for listening :)

eve one detected the wuisk sound sets straight away and lists them. but i have knagalis installed in the same place (its own folder of course) but it's not recognised.

how do i play knagalis sounds through eve one ?

Post

make a 'knagalis' folder in your 'eve data' folder and copy the knagalis .dashsnd files inside.

Knagalis ethnic sample set has been converted for friendly usage
in EVE 1.8, EVE ONE and any future DashSound players:

EMM Knagalis registered users
can freely download the Knagalis_samples_for EVE.exe file at
