I have to admit as a T1 licence holder I dismissed T2 too easily. The first T2 demo just didn't run smoothly on my Pentium 1.6 Laptop (dropped note issues on my first session really had me pissed).
Anyway, I just built a brand spanking new AMD 3500+ Venice machine and T2 seems to work much better. Timing seems tight with mith my ESI Julia soundcard and very smooth operation (CPU seems a bit higher than Live4 with some plugs which I thought was odd). Haven't tested many 3rd party FX so I can't vouch that the dropped note thing won't pop up yet, but I sort of missed the MDA plugs in tracktion anyway. They are sort of 'groovy' in nature IMO, which I like.
Anyway just wanted to say I'm VERY happy so far, as it's a completely new experience on this machine and that the screen layout is also lovely on my 19 inch LCD! For a $20 upgrade I can't complaign...
