and in answer to Dave's kama'aina[old timer] question I came to the Islands in 1971 and after living several years on other islands [Kauai Molokai and Oahu] we moved to our farm in 1976 and have participated in some social activism for both Hawaiian rights and Med Cannabis -lost my step son in 1981 to cancer and his story how pot stopped uncontrolable heaves with 100 two week old abdominal stitches and him only 7 years old helped our legislature pass our med pot law I was invited to the Gov's office for the signing of the bill
