Has anyone here ever used Tracktion for performing electronic music live? If so, give us the run down on setting up your projects and hardware controllers.

I know people use it to record live music, but I don't think it is suited to live performances personally.
I'd recommend Live (surprise surprise) because it really is geared to that scenario. Tracktion hiccups a bit sometimes if you change a parameter and though it's navigation is great for producing, I think it would be a bit cumbersome to use live.

Yeah, but I can't afford to spend $400 on Live. I was thinking of setting up a loop region of sufficient length and muting all tracks. Once T2 arrives I can mute and unmute with my PCR30 as well as tweak effects plugins. Would this work, do you reckon?

Are you on a PC?
If you answered "yes" to both of these questions - get yourself EnergyXT. It's modular, works well with T and is geared towards live use (unlike Tracktion).
EnergyXT is not available in any stores and can be ordered only at http://www.xt-hq.com.
Order now and receive the wonderful EnergyPro synth, free of charge.
