Trying to render a song in Tracktion 1, using Battery 2 for drums, and the sound drops out for about 1 second over the corse of the rended WAV. The point that it drops out change sometimes, but are generally in the same area. It dosen't do this when I play it back in Traktion live. Search found nothing relivent. Help!

Try to render the track first

Does Battery have Direct-from-disk streaming? I know this problem has happened with most of the NI stuff, including the libraries that use just the sample player. Try rendering without Disk streaming if Battery does use it.
If not, then I wonder what is with the NI products? Anyone having these problems with software OTHER than Native Instruments? Maybe this will help Jules sort it out quicker. Personally, it's been on the EastWest Quantum Leap Orchestra.

Sounds like the same problem that I wrestle with constantly. Rendering the track by itself doesn't help, you have to record the audio going out of the track and reimport it as a sound file.
A real pain.

Im my experience, using Kompakt players with Symphonic librarys, I render in Realtime and it solves the problem, but you have to wait longer for the whole process to finish
Hope K2 will solve that problem once I get it. Hope to get it soon.

Don't hold your breath. K2 has at least as many problems with off-line rendering as has 1.5.3. (There are rumours of another K2 patch just around the corner, but I don't know whether it addresses any rendering probs.)AndrewW wrote:Im my experience, using Kompakt players with Symphonic librarys, I render in Realtime and it solves the problem, but you have to wait longer for the whole process to finish

This seems to be a problem with all NI plugins from what I can see.imember wrote:Sounds like the same problem that I wrestle with constantly. Rendering the track by itself doesn't help, you have to record the audio going out of the track and reimport it as a sound file.

Many complaints about plugins that cut out audio for a couple of seconds at render time.
I'll add a vote to TapeIt, and paying for TapeIt2 is well worth it.
But this isn't really Tracktion's fault. I've read posts about it happening in Cubase and Sonar.
I believe it's a CPU issue where NI plugins cut-out audio when the CPU peaks too high. Why this should happen at render time is anyone's guess.

Yes, my recent K2 troubles were identical in energy XT. NI has some work to do.
TapeIt2 here also. Every time!
