Wife just called, T2 box on the porch

Even though I'm still Win98SE (I'll upgrade with a new PC in the next couple of months) I decided to go ahead and buy the boxed T2.

Ordered yesterday from Sweetwater. Arrived today at 1:00 pm, free shipping! Just over 24 hours turnaround time.

I'm hoping that Sampletank SE works in T1 and the soundfont player as well.

Can they be installed apart from T2?

I think all the plugs will work, but I am not certain. If you are going to update the OS though, you might have to request new internet-registration numbers for the IK stuff, which would suck (it might be fine with the same numbers if you don't change any 'structural' hardware). Will you be using a new hard drive (OS updates are always a nice time to do that)?

The IK apps will run for 10 days without registration...

Update: RMIV only works with T2 - says so when you scan for the plugins - I guess I'm gonna have to wait.

I still can't get my copy of SampleTank to register. Sent support an email several days ago, still haven't heard anything.

When I got T-2, IK's Amplitude registered OK. Then I went to register SampleTank I typed in the serial number, and a message came up saying "that serial number is registered to some one else". I had a similiar problem when I purchased T-Racks from IK. but they iron'd it out OK
