How come everyone at KVR seems to have swallowed a thesaurus - I know gracefull and poetic use of language can sometimes communicate a concept succinctly, but that ain't happening here. XoXos I'm sorry to say that half of your posts makes no sense to me and I'm not exactly dumb - also if you're offering to help people understand their suffering you should be very careful, their are a lot of people who would take you up on that offer - who helped you understand your suffering? However you sure set the cat among the pidgeons and I have to say this is one of the most entertaining and interesting posts I've seen on KVR for ages. ANGER does do that - get a response, problem is its unpredictable. And I think your frustration is very understandable and also something that a lot of people will relate to. But I would say that you put yourself on a pedestal in the way you speak about it and you might want to look at the ways you contribute to all the things you're angry about, and how that what you see in others that makes you angry - only makes you angry because you recognise it! Obviously you are a sensitive and insightfull person but I would say that in my experience, if something you see makes you angry - or how people are - there is something for you to learn in it, as well as them. Ultimately we have no direct control over the way other people act - so as much as we want them to do something a certain way, we have no foolproof way of making them do it! However, with yourself...
Also I wonder if the fact that the full moon is hanging lower in the sky tonight (and therefore bigger) since 1987, and its solstice - is contributing to your/our manicness?
And - I hope you are alright and aren't feeling very depressed or something - because in my opinion a forum is no place to get satisfaction with anything really serious like that!

I have a feeling this is gonna take a trip to HPC...anger is healthy sometimes as spe3d says, but also sometimes it's giving away too much of your personal power...now I'm out before it goes to hpc...

suffering...the worst is hunger and seeing your family suffer....better to feel angry than nothing at all.I am dead because I feel nothing at all.

I simply dont believe that though. Poor families experience greed too, except with empty stomachs and generally poor living conditions. The "stress" that people here can experience is nothing compared to those who work (real work - the manual kind that breaks your back) all day and still starve/die from disease/are murdered for their shoes.Hink wrote:do you really belive that? have you ever seen the figures on the amount of us citzens living at or below the poverty level....you leave out one important factor. lol oh. It's the catagory that off topic controversal threads belong in. Often a thread will randomly turn into a flame war and is sent there.Staffi wrote:No I meant, what is HPC?

some of those from other countries dont see their plight as stressful...you base your thoughts on an americans point of veiw. But other cultures are quite different, we honor our elders, some parts of the world the ederly go away to die when they feel they are no longer useful, it's thier duty. Some languages do not even have a word for love. Some of those suffering by your standards are honoring their culture, their gods and family by paying their dues and they take pride in it. Some parts of the world have worked hard to keep progress out, and you know what? They may be right. In other words how can we judge what someone else calls suffering, and how can we compare brands of suffering?...Chase wrote:I simply dont believe that though. Hink I see that and and never thought of it that way, but human suffering is simple to see in most cases. In your basic developing country a women will have about 10 children and usually a third to all of them will die, after which the women will be lucky to live to 40. This also causes overpopulation which makes the problem worse. Many children make the family poorer. Loosing children and starving to death tend to go further than culteral pride.
