do you really belive that? have you ever seen the figures on the amount of us citzens living at or below the poverty level....you leave out one important factor. Just because someone has a pc, car, stereo, plasma tv doesn't mean they can afford it...just because many americans are living far beyond their means doesn't mean they're better off....in fact the stress can create very unhealthy results...material thngs and money doesn't always equal happiness....sometimes it's quite the opposite and destructive...Chase wrote:xoxos, seperoth has a point. Residents of develeoped countries may suffer losses like falling over, loneliness, the occasional unnatural death, etc., but that's nothing compared to your basic average resident of a poor, "developing" country. You can afford a computer - and therefore food, medical care, etc.
