Hi guys - I tried out the final mix presets but don't hear any change fr one to the other. I did it by just clicking the different presets in the plug in. Then I tried loading the preset by clicking the button at the bottom of the Tracktion page & the final mix preset folder was empty. But they should be preloaded anyway... Am I missing something? Thanks

- You definitely have to change patches from within Final Mix, not from the bottom of the Tracktion page.
- Go to the directory the presets are located in (ie. in Explorer or Finder... is it still called that?), and set them all to be either "read-only" (Windows) or "locked" (Mac). In Windows, you do this by highlighting them all, right-clicking, and selecting "properties" from the context menu. At the bottom, you'll see a check box for setting the "read only" property.
Not sure if you need to re-scan/re-load after doing that.
I assume you're using the latest version, though-- there were muchos problemos with the earliest Final Mix version in terms of loading presets.

Also, I found when I upgraded from T1 to T2 I had TWO versions of Final Mix floating around. The grey one and the older blue one. If you select the older one, the presets sometimes don't appear. Make sure you're using the Final Mix that appears in a folder called "Mackie Plugins" on the VST tree list when you go to add a Filter.
