The suggestion that Tracktion's sales are an indication of the vitality of its development, or should in any way address the concerns of disappointed users, is ridiculous.

I agree that the two are not analagous. However, the original poster was merely pointing out that Mackie haven't sent T2 into the shitter. He didn't address details or specific concerns.Hewitt Huntwork wrote:The suggestion that Tracktion's sales are an indication of the vitality of its development, or should in any way address the concerns of disappointed users, is ridiculous.
I can say without reservation that the development is vital, ongoing, and being done with a future in mind. User disappointment is another issue. There are many of us, however, who are NOT disappointed as a whole, despite the persistence of certain setbacks.

Greg, between the time that I originally posted and now I have received and plugged in my new 19" LCD monitor, so believe me when I say I'm prepared to sit here and argue all day! Just kidding...Lunch Money wrote:I agree that the two are not analagous. However, the original poster was merely pointing out that Mackie haven't sent T2 into the shitter. You and I were typing at the same time. It may have seemed that I was responding to you, but at the time I posted, I had not yet read your comments. I'm sorry I just can't agree that the original poster was trying to do anything other than use evidence of sales to criticize T2's critics. The implication is that if the complaints we read here were founded, it wouldn't be doing so well on MF and Sweetwater. I don't believe I've seen users complaining that the development of T2 has hurt its sales.
It was a pissy, unproductive post that deserves to be responded to as I have responded to it. That being said, your response is well-intentioned and much appreciated.

Tracktion tom should have replied his post to the following thread:

I'm pretty sure that's where he was aiming.

Out of curiosity, which brand did you get? I bought a 19" Dell Ultrasharp but despite top reviews it had terrible color representation and 'grey/purple' for 'black'.
