T1 and T2 Married to each other?

Last night I was trying to find a way to cut down my time to try new vsts (I have a bunch, and it takes over 2 minutes to scan for new plugs.Yeah, I know. Too many. That's a different thread, though!). I figured I'd just open T1 and remove all the folders from the list except my "testbed" folder. Worked great, except that when I went back to T2, all the folders in that list were gone too, and the only plugins showing were the ones from my testbed folder!

Shared user prefs. You could create another user account & switch between them as needed.

The fastest way to test VST's is Energy XT. It starts up in seconds and you can drag-n-drop .dll files directly onto it. You dont even have to scan anything.

That alone makes it worth the money imo. It's great for beta testing too because if a plug crashes XT, it boots back up in seconds.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't realize there was a user settings file that could be modified.
I'll have to check out Energy XT. I've heard a lot about it, but never tried it. Thanks again.
