I'm currently implementing the Grid for the new engine in order to tame the modular aspects. Otherwise adding those 30 modules would be no fun... Works beautifully so far, but I'm still at two oscillators for prototyping...

However, here's a variation of the Space Guitar (one osc), a squelchy bass (both oscs) and a wavetablish synth (one osc): Z2WaveMangle.mp3. Other plugs: UltraBeat, 2 x Logic Stereo Delay, 1 x ADLimiter. The bass sound kinda randomly morphs through different spectrums...

Did I mention that the Grid channels and all processing will be fully stereo in Z2?!?

Cheers,

;) Urs
Urs, thanks for the mp3's...it's very exciting to hear things are moving along and I still look forward to working with Z2...it sounds fantastic!

Yeah, there's absolutely nothing to say against a good hun joke, especially when coming from someone eating horrible things such as lamp chops in mint sauce...
Huh? Oh I get it ... you don't like vegetable matter with the meat ;-)

Hm, unfortunately, on a serious note: These sort of jokes (or whatever it was meant to be) IMO are highly questionable.

I can assure you that most german musicians on KVR are more or less what you'd call "left wingers" or whatever.
And I can also assure you that most of us are pretty much aware of all the gruesome things that happened during the third reich.
We're also pretty much aware that this should NEVER ever happen again.

I seriously don't think we're a good target for tasteless jokes, nor do we deserve to be seen as some "they're still all nazis" folks.
Unfortunately such comments (regardless whether they were meant seriously) still make me feel we still are, at least in quite some areas of this world.

Even if Hitler's was the most horrible regime to ever be found in history (and I truly feel ashamed for my ancestors to follow him), I wonder what people would think if others would be equaling spains for slaughtering inkas, US folks for killing millions of indians and so on.
I think nobody would tolerate that either.

Sascha
Oops, sorry

I didn't mean as an insult, it's just about the only thing I can say in german(that and aufwiedersehen). As rsmus7 suggested, I just wanted to point on your german conversation. It was my way of saying "I don't understand what the hell is going on here but I'll pretend I do". It obviously struck a nerve, so again, I'm sorry.

Not the first time a tasteless or inappropriate comment has been uttered by Katanaman.

:o

I'm earning a reputation! I'm so honoured!

Although, in all honesty, I never make a conscious effort to be offensive. If you read my other posts, you'll notice I'm mostly nice and when I offend anyone it's purely by accident.

We WILL win! We have to! Ballack & Podolski will both be fit after their short break. Deisler will replace Schweini. That's gonna be a rocking team!!!

Hmmmm, we lost. But our team was on eye level with them. There's hope.

And, uhm, yes, Podolski shot a goal :D

who's that?

(did I already mention that I neither own a radio nor a t.v.? - How hippy is that? :hihi:)

That was a really great match. And it's been quite a while since I said something like that about a match germany was involved in.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

yup it was kinda nice.... and jens it's not hippy it's rather öko ....will go to a party now (just arrived from the one before)

Post

jens isnt öko he´s just a poor troll :hihi:

and yes it was a good mazch and germany was good at playing the brazilians.

and I think the sentence has to change now:

Football is when everyone plays and Brazilia ( before Germany ) wins.

Back on topic!

Zebra 2 matures quickly, and it mutates more and more into a small personal wonder of mine. As you might know, I could never become warm with programming FM synths. But Z2 has changed that. It comes up with something that I have never seen (let alone heard) in the world of FM. This is sooo mellow or sooo acid, sheer dope.

Yeah, I know I'm shamelessly teasing, while not revealing any details

Stay alert. The details will come up as soon as the graphics are finished and stuff goes into fine tuning phase. I think it's gonna be some kind of bang, and you'll see why I keep stuff quite arcane. I want to make sure that it's gonna be available soonish after any initial announcement about its new synthesis capabilities 8)

Cheers,

;) Urs
